Buffalo´s History
Buffalo's history can be traced back to 1976. It all started with Michael Conradi, who discovered the cowboy boot for himself and sold them a year later in his own store in Wiesbaden. The boots were well received and so he decided to give his company the name Buffalo Boots in 1979. At that time, sneakers were the latest trend, which did not escape Buffalo's attention, because sneakers were now the new cowboy
boots.
Platform Sole
A defining moment was the platform sole released in 1995, which still defines Buffalo today. Since 2017, the headquarters is in Cologne and Buffalo is part of the Deichmann Group. Of course, Buffalo couldn't miss its entry into the rave scene with the designs selected for it.
